Zamami Island, a remote island in Okinawa. Zamami's only traditional wooden sailing ship, the Sabani, experience and snorkel tour! What is a Sabani (Shark Boat)? A wooden boat that has been used since ancient times in Okinawa. A boat that is rowed with an oar called a wake and moves forward with the wind catching the sails. Cruising while feeling nature is a wonderful experience. First-timers and children are also welcome. Tour photos will be given as a gift. Let's enjoy the sea of Zamami on a Sabani! ! ~Experience flow~10:00 Meeting / Reception Those who come by the first high-speed boat will be greeted at the port. After reception at the shop, we will fit the mask and fins. 10:15 Briefing You will actually see the Sabani and receive an explanation of the Sabani. We will give you a lecture on how to row and points to note. 10:25 Lower the Sabani into the sea and depart The destination will vary depending on the wind of the day, but as far as possible, we will go to an uninhabited island. Enjoy cruising while feeling the sounds of the waves and wind and feeling nature. The destination will be decided by the weather. 11:00 Snorkeling on a deserted island After arriving at the deserted island, take a short break and then snorkel. Okinawa traditional sailing boat Sabani & snorkel tour

Sabani is a wooden boat from Okinawa. It is a boat that is handmade by craftsmen without using any nails or screws. In the past, it was used for practical purposes, but with the spread of engines, the number of riders has decreased, and so have the number of shipbuilders. Sabani is rowed with a paddle called a wake and moves forward by catching the wind with a sail. There is no engine noise or smell of gasoline, making it the best eco-friendly vehicle that fits in with today's world. Every year in June, a Sabani race is held from Zamami to Naha. We want many people to know about and experience Sabani. Let's row and swim Sabani as hard as we can in the beautiful sea and have fun.
