Thank you for visiting Dive Shop TI.OCEAN. We offer introductory diving and snorkeling tours tailored to beginners. Gorilla Chop Beach, a popular swimming spot on Okinawa's main island, features a large rock formation with a gorilla chopping. It's home to a variety of coral reefs, abundant fish, and beautiful white sand! Your instructor will understand your needs and provide a one-of-a-kind guide! Turn your "best experience" into "greatest memories"! Experience your own aquarium, a place you can only experience here! [Course Schedule] 8:15 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:45 AM, and 1:30 PM (four tours per day)! Tour Description: 1. Meet at Sakimotobu Green Park. 2. Check in and pay. 3. Change into your swimsuit in the changing room. 4. Receive an explanation of snorkeling equipment. 5. Start your introductory dive with your instructor. ⑥ After snorkeling, you can shower and change in the changing room. ⑦ After changing, transfer the photos and videos you took with your GoPro to your phone. ⑧ Once the photos and videos have been transferred to your phone, you can leave. If the parking lot is full, there is a multi-story parking lot a 5-minute walk from Sakimotobu Green Park. It costs 100 yen per hour.
Experienced professional diving instructors will teach you one-on-one gently according to the pace of each customer, so even beginners are safe (^ O ^ ☆ ♪
There are approximately 90 parking spaces available in the parking lot. Large buses and minibuses are also accommodated. Please contact us in advance if you wish to park a bus. The white building is the administration building. Facilities include showers, changing rooms, and restrooms. There are eight shower rooms, separated by gender. All are cold water showers and cost 100 yen for three minutes. Only coins are accepted, so be sure to have 100 yen coins ready. There are vending machines. Gorilla Chop has four gazebos (rest areas). They are grouped in pairs, located on the hilltop and on the beach side. The photo shows the gazebo (rest area) on the hilltop, which offers a great view and is a very pleasant place. It's also a great place to eat your lunch. The view is of the harbor side, not the beach. Since snorkelers and divers don't pass through here, it's a relatively quiet space. There's also a roof, so it's fine even in light rain.

What is Gorilla Chop? Even if you think it's a strange name, everyone should be convinced if you look at this rocky mountain. It's about 7-8 meters high, and it certainly looks like a gorilla is "karate chopping". When you swim into the sea from the side of this rocky mountain, the water depth is about 1 to 2 meters. The soft coral of the soft coral family spreads all over the seabed. If you swim about 100 meters to the tip of the reef, the types of corals such as Ubieda Poritidae and Midoriishi will increase.

Safety measures excellent marine leisure provider This is a system that designates beaches, diving businesses, pleasure boat businesses, snorkeling businesses, and marinas that the Okinawa Prefectural Public Safety Commission has recognized as fully meeting the safety standards set out in the "Water Safety Ordinance" and other regulations as "safety-oriented marine leisure providers," or so-called "Maru-Yu" businesses. To receive the Maru-Yu designation, businesses must have in place personnel requirements such as qualified water rescuers and guide divers, as well as the required safety equipment.
