Plan description

ニセコを代表する羊蹄山の麓にある半月湖の周りを散策します。　

半月湖は、北海道羊蹄山の西麓にある半月の形をした火山湖です。倶知安コースの登山口となっている羊蹄山自然公園にあります。約1万年前に羊蹄山の火山活動で生じた火口に水が溜まり誕生した湖で、原生林に囲まれた湖畔の無垢な景観はややマニアック的な場所でもあります。
トレッキング中には羊蹄山山頂を望めるビュースポットもあり、途中、半月湖の水辺へと降りていき、水の中の生き物を観察したり、湖面に映る羊蹄山をバックに記念写真を撮ったりします。

秋限定の半月湖一周紅葉トレッキング

赤や黄色に染まった木々を眺めながら、ゆっくりと半月湖の周りを散策します。
