Plan description

Dancing Snow's regular backcountry guided tour is a one-day course of Mt. Aim for a peak accessible from the Myoko ski resort. Use lifts and gondolas to get as far as you can, then hike up to the top. Expect approximately 2-3 hours of climbing time, depending on your group and destination. If you have experience and want to enjoy steep slopes and deep snow, please join us.

About the guide

1 guide will be attached to 5 people, and 1 more guide will be attached when there are 5 or more people. A high percentage of customers are small groups. It will be a group of Max 10 people.

Tour schedule

Please come to the office by 8:30 on the day. We will have a course, snow, weather condition and safety meeting before departure. We'll check everyone's gear, take questions, give them lunch and get them ready to go. Our vehicle will take you to the starting point and most likely a lift ride.

There is also a hot spring next to the office ♪

The price does not include the hot spring fee, but you can enjoy the hot springs of Niigata when you return from the tour.

As such, all guests are required to sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any backcountry activity (PDF version available in attachment). At the same time, our guides are trained in First Aid, Avalanche Prediction and Rescue and are dedicated to providing the most enjoyable and well-planned experience possible. 2. All Dancing Snow customers are automatically included in our group insurance at no additional charge (contact us for more information on coverage). It is also strongly recommended that all persons participating in backcountry tours have their own valid insurance covering outdoor activities. 3. If you have any chronic health conditions, please let us know. We know that many people are able to participate in outdoor activities, albeit with some restrictions, and we respect your ability to determine if a tour is within your capabilities. Your information will be kept strictly confidential, but very helpful in dealing with anything that happens during the day. Note Regarding Personal Information To ensure your safety, as part of your lesson or tour registration, we ask for personal information such as your phone number and emergency contact information. We will not use personal information for any other purpose and will not provide personal information to third parties.
