Plan description

This is a 60-minute rental plan for a simple SUP "Mirage Eclipse" that you can stand and pedal with your feet. Mirage Eclipse is a SUP equipped with HOBIE's unique pedaling system called Mirage Drive, which makes it easier and faster than rowing with oars! Please come in comfortable clothes. *If it rains lightly, the event will be held, so please bring rain gear if rain is expected. *There is a possibility of falling into the water, so it is safe to bring a change of clothes just in case. *Wetsuit rental is available (1,100 yen including tax). There is time to change clothes, so please come a little early. Exercise with your friends, take a leisurely walk on the lake, take pictures with Mt. Fuji, and enjoy the lake freely in the great outdoors! *Please contact us if you are using more than 5 people.

"Mirage Drive" that maximizes communication on the water

The pedal-type device "Mirage Drive," which has become synonymous with HOBIE. Traditional kayaks have been paddle-rowed vehicles, but Mirage Drive allows you to harness the strength of your human legs, which are much stronger and more durable than your arms, for efficient propulsion. The main research axis of Mirage Drive, which has been improved, is its impact on the natural world. Propeller-type boats can create bubbles when the propeller rotates under the surface of the water, causing fear to the creatures in the water and causing seaweed to be involved and destroy nature. Therefore, HOBIE studied the movement of the feathers when the penguins swim, and by incorporating the movements that already exist in the natural world, the underwater creatures do not escape, sometimes thinking of Hobie Kayak as a companion, and spending time together in the water. You can now enjoy it.

Located in Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Lake Saiko is one of the "Fuji Five Lakes" in Yamanashi Prefecture. It is surrounded by nature and has a quieter, more tranquil atmosphere than other lakes. There is little development and the lakeside is surrounded by forest, giving it a beauty that is almost like a primeval landscape. It is popular with people who enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and canoeing.
