RIB boat RIB is an abbreviation for "Rigid Inflatable Boat". Originally developed for the Navy, Police and Rescue Services, these large, unsinkable, all-weather inflatable boats are now used by sightseeing tour companies around the world. Our boats are built to the highest British standards and have been retested and upgraded to comply with Japanese Maritime Law.
