Plan description

It is a Kumano Kodo hike that walks with the storyteller. In this course, where you can enjoy scenic scenery and many historical sites, you can enjoy a walk along the Kumano Kodo while listening to the storyteller. The characteristic "saw-toothed" townscape of Kuroe can be seen in the narrow alleys north and south, including Kawabata Street, which is about 200 meters away. Originally, Kuroe lacquer ware began in the Muromachi period and prospered greatly in the Edo period under the protection of the clan. With the prosperity of lacquer ware, the Kuroe area, which became too small, was gradually reclaimed to form the current section. A unique landscape of lacquer ware town will be formed, such as a townhouse with a Kyoto-style and quaint "Renko lattice" appearance, and a saw-toothed townscape.
