Plan attractions
Ise Jingu Outer Shrine It enshrines Toyouke Omikami, the goddess of food for Amaterasu Omikami. "Uke" in Toyouke means food, and is worshiped as the guardian deity of all industries, including clothing, food and shelter.
Ise Jingu Inner Shrine It takes 20 minutes to walk slowly from Ujibashi Torii, the main entrance of Naiku, to the main shrine. Passing in front of the Kaguraden, you can see the main shrine where Amaterasu Omikami sits. More than 2000 years old, it conveys the appearance of ancient times to the present.
"Oharai Machi" and "Okage Yokocho" "Oharai-machi" is the temple town that stretches for about 800 meters from Ujibashi, and "Okage-yokocho" is a section centered on the Akafuku main store in the middle of it. Okage Yokocho, which reproduces the streets of the Edo and Meiji eras, is full of the charm of Iseji, from specialties to human feelings!
Sarutahiko Shrine Sarutahiko Omikami is said to be the god who guided Ninigi Mikoto to Takachiho when the grandson descended, so he is also called the "God of Paths" who guides things in the right direction. It is a deity that has been believed since ancient times as a deity that serves as a signpost at the beginning of things.
Tsuki Yomimiya Tsukiyomi no Mikoto, the younger brother of Amaterasu Omikami, Izanagi no Mikoto, her father, Izanami no Mikoto, her mother, Tsukiyomi no Mikoto Aramitama-no-miya is enshrined in this shrine, and it is known as a high-ranking shrine next to Aramatsuri-no-miya, which enshrines the spirit of Amaterasu Omikami.
