Lining-up with the dates of the famous Autumn illumination event at Entsuin Temple, this experience program offers guests the chance to not only take-in the incredible sunset views from the top floor of a privately chartered boat, but savour the tastes of the region with the meal of fresh sushi prepared right there on then by an on-board sushi chef! Pair the delicious local seafood with few glasses of local sake as you watch the sun go down.
After the cruise, feel free to head to Entsuin Temple to enjoy the Autumn light-up event!

Time schedule

Meet your guide at JR Sendai Station. 8:15 Depart for Nobiru Station on the JR Senseki Line. 9:14 Arrive Nobiru Station. 9:30 Take a taxi to Otakamori.10:50 Hike up to Otakamori Observatory (60 mins).

Take a fishing boat to the oyster rafts. Try harvesting oysters and eat up to 3 raw oysters (40 minutes).

Take a boat cruise along the Matsushima coastline.See natural formations and cliffs.

Visit a traditional oyster-shack for an all-you-can-eat oyster lunch. Enjoy all-you-can-eat oysters for 50 minutes.

Walk around Matsushima Town.Stop by'M Pantry' for a freshly cooked oyster Senbei (rice crackers).

Visit Godaidō Temple. (To visit other famous temples, extend your guided tour by one hour for 3,000 JPY / group) 14:45 Walk along Kaigan Dori shopping street (15 minutes)

Experience ends at Matsushima-Kaigan Station (JR Senseki Line). Take a local train to Sendai or continue to your next destination.
