Fishing Guide Treasure Kotorimaru, who has been sailing the seas of Miyagi, will guide you through "exciting fishing" and precious moments filled with smiles. The target fish range from large migratory fish to red sea bream, rockfish, and blue fish. We also welcome those who have never fished before but have always wanted to try fishing on a boat! We look forward to your challenge.
The most important thing we value in order to ensure our guests have an enjoyable day is peace of mind and safety. We have never had an accident since we took possession of our vessel, thanks to not only maintaining the vessel, but also ensuring that the ship's sides are high enough to protect guests from falling into the water, installing rails that surround the vessel, adhering to operational regulations such as departure standards and navigational ranges, and conducting daily safety inspections (an obligation for recreational fishing boats). (As a result, even if a reservation is made, departure may be postponed. Please rest assured that in the event of cancellations due to bad weather, etc., there will be no charge to the customer.)
The mood of fish is greatly influenced by the season, water temperature, and tides. While searching for fish with a fish finder, we will carefully teach you the techniques to make the fish want to eat your lure or bait. We have a wide selection of rental fishing equipment that is easy to use even for customers who are new to fishing.
If you'd like to try fishing, it's okay even if you don't have any equipment! As long as you have clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and non-slip shoes (sneakers), you can come with just your own feelings. The staff at Kotorimaru also started out with nothing. Fishing is fun! Let us know if you think that. Offshore fishing is often thought of as a high hurdle, but everyone is a beginner at first. Please feel free to come.
I have been on the boat for over 10 years. My dream since elementary school was to catch a marlin, and since then I have traveled not only all over Japan, but also overseas to meet big fish. As a captain on a recreational fishing boat, I enjoy helping customers catch fish. I look forward to seeing you there.
I am in charge of managing reservations for Activity Japan. On rare occasions, I am on board the Kotori Maru to help the customers and the captain! I am one of the biggest foodies in Japan, and I believe that the best treat is one you can get, cook and eat yourself! I am usually called Guri-san or Guri-chan. I look forward to meeting you!
