After choosing your favourite style of kimono from the many beautiful pieces at ‘Umerabu’ kimono rental, you will be transformed by a professional kimono dresser. A short wander along the bay and you will arrive at ‘Kanrantei’ tea-house, an ancient villa belonging to samurai Date Masamune, where you will enjoy some traditional matcha green tea and seasonal ‘wagashi’ Japanese sweets in the open sitting-room with panaromic ocean views.
