It is a tea ceremony experience at the table. There is no need for a sitting position. You can join by hand. You do not have to have knowledge of tea ceremony at all.
First of all, you can rehearse the flow of the mini tea party, have some sweets, have a cup of green tea, and then have the experience of actually making green tea by yourself.

Here you can find everything you need for a tea party, such as pocket paper and sweets. You can leave your clothes as they are.
I sit in a chair and make matcha at the table. Therefore, for those who are not good at sitting upright and have a pain in the knee, the first tea ceremony experience can be done easily and in a proper manner.
In a normal tea ceremony experience, you only drink matcha, but at "Omotenashi Chanoyu" you can actually experience making matcha with a chasen.
