A local guide will take you to Kyoto's popular spots including Gion and Higashiyama! This is a private tour designed for Muslim and vegetarian travelers.
We will visit Gion which is famous for maiko-girls and Kiyomizu-dera - a renowned temple and popular tourist destination.
Spend your day with our experienced guide and enjoy Kyoto sightseeing.

Hotel pick-up (10:00) ⇒ Nishiki Market ⇒ Yasaka Shrine ⇒ Lunch (Halal Yakiniku Narita) ⇒ Gion Walking ⇒ Kiyomizu-dera Temple ⇒ hotel (17:00 scheduled end)
As a "kitchen" of Kyoto, the Nishiki Market is a shopping street popular with locals.
This is a perfect place to enjoy both shopping and dining as you can buy here not only fresh seafood or vegetables but also traditional craft items and souvenirs.
There are many long-established shops selling pickled vegetables and 'obanzai' food so you can stop by to taste local treats.
After lunch, we will stroll around Gion district which expands from the west side of the Yasaka Shrine to the north. You can see streets with rows of cherry trees and cozy cafes and tea houses.
If we are lucky, we might meet maiko-girls.
The Kiyomizu-dera Temple site covers 130,000 square meters and includes 15 shrines registered as national treasures and important cultural assets. Most of them were rebuilt in the early Edo period in 17th century, and have been included on UNESCO's World Heritage Site List.
You will see a stage in the main hall known for the popular expression "to jump off the stage at Kiyomizu" and a famous waterfall called "Otowa-no-taki".
