Commonly a bonsai represents a mini landscape or mountain scenery produced in a small pot.
But a moss bonsai is made of seedlings covered with moss and rounded up and no pot is necessary.
Therefore, you can arrange decorations by placing it on various plates or hang.
Instead of plates if you place it in a MASU (wooden box) you can enjoy a unique combination of wood with deep green moss.
And it is easy to take away.
Our venue is located in a long-established flower shop with a history of 70 years,
which is located in a busy district of Hiroshima lined with many department stores. Currently the venue offers 46 culture classes in ikebana and tea ceremony.
The venue is easy to access, so you can experience Japanese culture during your tour in Hiroshima if time permits between your sightseeing programs.
* "MASU (wooden box)" may not be available depending on the participation date.
Flowers, fruits, leaves, evergreen trees, mountain grasses and plenty of various plants are used for making bonsai according to the season.
Our venue is located in central Hiroshima between Hiroshima Station and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Come stop by on your visit to this area.
★ Take your moss bonsai home.
★ As a memory of your experience an origami crane folded with yuzen paper will be presented!
★English speaking guide is available.
