Plan description

The Kashiwajima area is said to be home to one-third of the fish found in Japan. Facing the Bungo Channel, where a branch of the Kuroshio Current flows, more than 1,000 species of temperate and subtropical creatures can be seen. It is a popular spot for divers who are fascinated by the abundance of creatures. Trial diving is for those who have never tried scuba before. With the utmost care and consideration for safety, an instructor or guide will guide and instruct you on an almost one-on-one basis. *You are prohibited from flying for at least 18 hours after trial diving!

Equipment includes rental fee. A diving experience where you can participate empty-handed

* Please be sure to fill in the name, sex, height, weight, and shoe size of all participants when applying (for advance equipment preparation). All you need to bring is a swimsuit, towel, and sandals. All necessary equipment is included in the rental. Approximately 2 hours, the first half will explain how to use the equipment and precautions. In the second half, we will go to the diving point by boat and stroll through the beautiful sea for about 30 minutes. * Please note that we cannot offer refunds or discounts even if you are unable to dive or have to wait on the boat after arriving at the diving point by boat for some reason.

Diving experience is also possible with family and friends

You can experience it if you are a junior high school student or older. Why don't you take a walk in the sea with your family and friends? Don't worry, you will be accompanied almost one-on-one by staff. The time underwater is about 30 minutes. ・When you return to the shop, you will take a hot shower (shampoo, rinse, and body soap are provided) and change clothes to finish. If you arrive earlier than the meeting time, please relax in the facility until it's time to prepare for your trial dive.

If you arrive by car

Take the highway to Shimantocho Chuo IC or Tsushima Iwamatsu IC. After that, take National Route 56 from Sukumo City → From Sukumo City, take National Route 321 to Prefectural Route 43 to Kashiwa Island!

If you arrive by train

Please come by limited express Nanpu from Okayama station. (There may be a transfer at Nakamura on the way) The staff will pick you up at Sukumo Station for free.

If you arrive by other means of transportation

Take a long-distance bus to Sukumo City while sleeping on the Keihanshin region "Shimanto Blue Liner"! !! The staff will pick you up at Sukumo Station. Transfer is free.
