We have been teaching and performing music for over 20 years, working on a wide range of traditional Japanese instruments, including the koto, shinobue, and taiko drums, as well as modern instruments like the guitar and piano. We operate music schools and studios in Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and Kanazawa, and produce cultural shows and concerts throughout Japan. We created Otomonogatari because we wanted visitors from around the world to experience the true sound and spirit of Japanese music by actually playing the instruments themselves. Our goal is to make Japanese culture accessible, meaningful, and fun for first-time visitors. We truly enjoy meeting people from all over the world and look forward to sharing this musical journey with you.
