Chart is an organization that aims to get the general public and children interested in space by handling content such as space balloons. We also provide aircraft designs that elementary and junior high school students can work on as independent studies, creating opportunities for many people to experience photographing the stratosphere. We are also planning to develop rockets, and hope to contribute to the promotion of Japan's space industry.
| Selling points regarding safety | In this project, we fill a giant balloon with helium gas to give it buoyancy, and use that buoyancy to send cameras and other equipment up to the stratosphere, about 30km into the sky, to take pictures of the space between the Earth and space. As mentioned above, we use helium gas, so we provide a very safe service. In addition, we ensure safety in terms of accidents by landing the aircraft (including cameras) in the ocean after it reaches the stratosphere. |
