We sew mainly clothing accessories such as formal bags, which are made-to-order sewing companies supported by internal employment. Komatsu City used to have many plying shops and machine shops, but there are few sewing factories, and now most of them are sewing overseas. Companies that specialize in small items such as drawstring purses and bags, such as Komatsu Sewing, are unique in Japan as a whole. We have an in-house community of about 100 people, mainly in the South Kaga area, and we are able to produce in small lots and at low cost by improving efficiency through a division of labor system. Basically, it is a sewing company specializing in OEM that manufactures on consignment from the brand, but in the future we will launch our own brand and also carry out DtoC business, and from August we will be a crowdfunding of new products using materials of local companies. I am challenging the ding. From now on, we are trying to make products that work directly with consumers, and the first is a set of a coin case made of lightweight nylon and an eco bag that can be minimized, and is scheduled to be released as "5_2" (Komatsu).
昨年に続いて２回目の参加で、昨年同様丁寧に教えていただきながらかばんを作りました。昨年は職業用ミシンを足や膝でミシンを操作することに慣れておらず、完成までの工程を全く覚えていませんでしたが、今回は少し慣れたため、工程を覚えようと努力しました。小さなお子さん連れの方もいらっしゃって和やかな雰囲気でした。努力が形になるのは楽しいことです。私は男性ですが十分楽しめました。というか、昨年楽しかったから今回も参加したのでした。今回もミシン作業の前後にいろいろ教えていただきましたが、地方の工場で有名なブランドの製品を作っていることに驚き、小松や石川の製造業のレベルの高さを感じました。
丁寧にご指導いただいて非常にスムーズに作成できた上、縫製にまつわる様々なお話を伺うことができて有意義でした。私は男性ですが、全く問題なく参加して作業できました。もう少しうまくなりたいという欲が出てきました。
工業用のミシンを初めて使わせてもらいました。糸切りまで足踏みペダル（他に名前あるかもしれませんが）でできるところにびっくりしました！
いろいろなところの小物を作っていらっしゃる会社で、驚きも多かったです。何枚も重ねて布を裁断できる機械も見学させていただきました⭐︎
