The workshop set up in Takandomachi, Komatsu City is a cultural space that combines the warehouse surrounding the tea room relocated from Komatsu Castle and the Nembutsu Dojo relocated from Toyama Prefecture. As Mr. Kazuyoshi 2nd generation said, "I think Kutani ware is a painting," there are many works with unusual paintings that are unique to Kutani ware, where both the first and second generations paint the entire vessel. The technique follows traditional techniques for painting, but in addition to the typical painting plate depicting the Kitamae ship that goes through the Sea of Japan, which was built by the first generation, animals that are not in the classic pattern these days, etc. We are making various works such as original painting plates with a dynamic feeling, art works such as figures of insects and birds, and Kutani ware sneakers in collaboration with companies.
