At the "NPO Japan Nagisa Art Association" in Suginami, Tokyo, we call beach drifting objects "gifts from the sea" and carry out beach beautification and enlightenment activities by means of art creation. In addition to exhibiting art works in various places, our association holds hands-on classrooms where you can easily participate.
We are doing sea beautification activities to leave the beautiful sea to the next generation. We have named the art that uses these things as "gifts from the sea" because they were born from the sea, so we named them "SeaboanArt".
The material for making seaborn art works is in the sea. We all go to the sea to collect materials. We also pick up trash as a thank you for the gift from the sea. Picking up trash turns into a treasure hunt, and you can enjoy your activities.
The companion who started picking up the trash turns into a companion who does not litter. I hope that the number of such friends will increase and that a compassionate heart for the sea will be nurtured.
