In this experience, you can observe it up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will give you easy-to-understand instructions. Next, you will make your own original flower vase using the wood turning wheel and plane that the craftsmen actually use. You can experience full-fledged wood sawing through making single flower vase. Most of the shapes are carved by yourself, so it's a little bit difficult, but it's fun! ! ! Try your hand at making an authentic parquet keychain by cutting and gluing parquet blocks that make use of the natural wood color! Wood comes in a variety of colors, from brown, red, yellow, and even purple. The parquet block bars that form the basis of parquet work are made in advance by instructor Matsuura. You cut them with a craftsman's saw and combine them to make hearts, leaves, and any other shape you like. Once firmly glued together, polish them with sandpaper and finish with oil to complete the piece. Instructor Matsuura of Studio Kaede is a talented artist who won the top prize at the Dobi Exhibition in 2019. He will kindly teach even beginners the authentic craftsmanship!

Draw a side view of a butter knife with a pencil. 2. Cut outside the line you drew with a scroll saw. 3.Use a machine called a belt sander to sand down to the lines on the side view. 4. Cut the unnecessary parts using a saw. 5. Draw a top view of the butter knife with a pencil. 6. Use a belt sander to sand down to the lines shown on the top view. 7. Polish with sponge sander and sandpaper by hand. 8. Wear gloves and apply oil with a rag to complete. Customers who participate in this plan will receive a cup of home-roasted coffee.
