"Private whale watching departing from Fisherina in Chatan! A half-day charter plan to search for humpback whales that visit in winter." Every winter, humpback whales return to Okinawa to breed, which is the most exciting season in Okinawa's ocean! Let's go looking for whales while looking at the beautiful Okinawa coast on the fully chartered comfortable boat "Haisai". In summer, they travel long distances to the Bering Sea, which is their feeding ground, and in winter, they travel long distances to the coastal waters of Okinawa to raise their young and breed. Humpback whales are one of the largest mammals in the world, with a total length of 10 to 15 meters and a weight of 30 tons. You will be fascinated by the performances of the whales, such as blowing (spouting) when their huge bodies appear on the surface of the sea and blow up a lot of spray, diving with their tails raised high, and jumping called breaching. Sometimes you can see their charming gestures of flapping their fins and tails in the air and splashing on the water surface. If you're lucky, you may have the chance to see a baby whale being brought along by its mother, or the dynamic spectacle of a male whale repeatedly breaching for courtship, known as a "heat run."
Fun half day trip go watching whale shark with small group up to 5 people! Really nice guild who share the day with us! Fortunately we were able to find them during the trip!

<Tour Introduction> Whale watching season has arrived in Okinawa once again! Island Message's proud 57-passenger "Yukai" cruiser not only offers great views, but also features separate flush toilets for men and women, and a dry room with sofas for protection from the wind and rain, making it a safe and enjoyable experience for women and children. One of the few cruises departing from Chatan, we accept reservations for two trips per day, morning and afternoon, from January 1st to February 28th. *We will also be holding this tour in March, but please apply for the March-only plan. <Whale Species> The humpback whales seen on our whale watching tours measure 13-15 meters in length and weigh approximately 25-30 tons, making them the seventh largest species of whale. They inhabit the cold northern seas (Bering Strait) during the summer, but migrate south to Okinawa's warm, calm waters from around December to give birth and raise their young. The peak season for seeing them in the waters off Okinawa's main island is from January to March, and in early April they set off again for the northern seas with their newborn calves. On the tour, you can enjoy the sight of mother and calf humpback whales swimming leisurely, and occasionally breaching their huge bodies, as well as other dynamic behavior. While you won't necessarily see any intense action, you'll be impressed by the majestic sight of these wild animals living in the great outdoors! <Schedule> ①Morning cruise: Meet at 8:30 / Check-in at 8:50, Board at 9:00, Departure ~ Whale search ~ 10:00, Whale spotted / Observation begins at 11:00, Observation ends at 11:30-12:00, Return to port ②Afternoon cruise: Meet at 13:00 / Check-in at 13:20, Board at 13:30, Departure ~ Whale search ~ 14:30, Whale spotted / Observation begins at 15:30, Observation ends at 16:00-16:30, Return to port *As whales are wild animals, the timing of whale sightings varies from day to day. <Tour Introduction> As a first for this season, Island Message will operate whale watching tours in March with a maximum capacity of 57 passengers, limited to 30 reservations, and morning trips only. Enjoy a unique whale watching experience in a more relaxed and comfortable setting aboard a large cruiser. March is arguably the best season, with mother and calf whales settling in and staying in the same area, making them easy to spot, and whales swimming around the main island increasing in number, allowing for extended observation time on many days. ◎ Furthermore, "heat runs," a phenomenon in which multiple males gather around a single female, are often spotted in the latter half of the season, so if you're lucky, you might even be able to see one. <Whale Species> The humpback whales seen on whale watching tours measure 13 to 15 meters in length and weigh between 25 and 30 tons, making them the seventh largest species of whale.
