Please come to our restaurant when you stop by the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introduction to the Houtou Making Experience☆★Houtou is a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture that is loved by many people. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and for a long time, "oneri for breakfast, barley rice for lunch, and pumpkin hoto for dinner" seemed to have been the standard for daily life in the rural areas of Koshu. In 2007, it was selected as one of the "100 Best Local Dishes of Rural Areas" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, which are known in farming, mountain and fishing villages all over Japan and are widely supported by the people. Unlike regular noodles, hoto noodles do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, you will make the noodles by hand from the powder state. It will be quite a voluminous meal, so please come hungry. We also offer a dyeing experience where you can experience the traditional Japanese dyeing technique using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hoto experience. In the dyeing experience, we will carefully explain each step, so those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with peace of mind.
