Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes and view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are protected species of birds. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact you via your mobile device and, depending on your preference, we will cancel the tour or reschedule the tour after the weather improves.

During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. You will walk through natural forests and see waterfalls and giant icicles flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, and depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are designated as natural monuments. 初めてのスノーシュー。 とっても期待して参加しました。 スノーシューの履き方を教わり、いざ出発！ 行き先は…フレペの滝展望台。 夏に夫婦二人でいったとこ！ 途中、スノーシューをはかずに防滑ブーツやスニーカーで歩く人達に遭遇したら『譲ってあげてね』と言われ、どうせならスノーシューならではのコースで歩きたかったな…と思いましたが、これが『お手軽』なんでしょうかね。 フレペの滝展望台からの帰り道は、車道に出て歩道をスノーシューで歩いて、物足りなく感じました。 でもシカに遭遇したり、森のでき方やヒグマの痕跡の話を聞いたりできたのは、よかったです。
