The Shiretoko Five Lakes are a representative tourist spot in Shiretoko and are a must-see. A certified guide will slowly guide you along a course of about 3 km with little elevation change. You can see the traces of animals and enjoy the rich nature of Shiretoko while walking. This trekking tour covers all of the Shiretoko Five Lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a special protected area of Shiretoko National Park, including the elevated boardwalk. This is the first groundbreaking forest adventure experience in Japan, where licensed guides guide you through areas where brown bears live. You can observe not only the lakes, but also the seasonal changes in nature, such as Ezo deer, Ezo red foxes, wild birds, alpine plants, and autumn leaves. Since the animals are not fed, all the creatures you encounter are real wild animals. Roads and trails may be closed due to brown bears, snowfall, storms, etc. If we know of a closure in advance, we will contact you by mobile device and offer you cancellation (free of charge) or alternative courses (same price), or alternative dates and times, if you wish. If the course is closed after meeting at the site, we will offer you alternative courses (same price) that are available for the remaining time. Everyone wants to visit Hokkaido in the summer. We will take you on a leisurely one-day tour of the naturally rich "Okhotsk" in Hokkaido. The theme of the Shiretoko area is "Enjoy nature to the fullest". In the morning, we will take you on a guided walk around the Shiretoko Five Lakes, walking through the representative fields of Shiretoko. We will take you to a restaurant in Utoro for lunch. The other half of the day will be trekking through the virgin forest. We will take you along animal trails to a place with spectacular views of cliffs and waterfalls. You will be able to fully immerse yourself in the charm of the World Natural Heritage Site of Shiretoko through encounters with wild animals and dynamic scenery. *In the event that the Shiretoko Five Lakes are completely closed due to brown bears or snowfall, the morning and afternoon tours may be switched, a different course may be introduced, or the tour may end in half a day (refunds will be given in this case). This is a tour that walks around the three observatories on the east side of Kushiro Marsh National Park. Hosooka Observatory - Sarubo Observatory - Sarurun Observatory. Hosooka Observatory can be reached by car! Light trekking to Sarubo Observatory and Sarurun Observatory! During the trek, you will walk slowly while looking for plants and wild birds, so don't worry if you are not confident in your physical strength! ~Experience Flow~ (For the 9:30 course) Meet at JR Senmo Line Toya Station at 9:30 Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. (If you are late, please let me know.) When we meet, we will park your car at Toya Station and move to Toro Station in my car. (Reception will be done in the moving car) 10:00 Arrive at Hosooka Observatory! Hosooka Observatory is a place where you can go by car. First, enjoy the scenery of the Kushiro Marsh and the Kushiro River. 10:20 Move to the next destination, Toro! It takes about 25 minutes from Hosooka Observatory to Toro. When we arrive at Toro around 10:45, we stop by the station and take a restroom break. 11:00 Arrive at the parking lot under the Salvo Observatory! After parking the car, it's about a 20 minute trek from here to the Sarubo Observatory. After seeing the scenery at 11:30, move to Sarurun Observatory! It takes about 25 minutes to trek to Sarurun Observatory. 11:55 Arrival at Sarurun Observatory! Drinks are available, so please relax while watching the scenery. Get off at the parking lot where you parked the car around 12:20. 12:50 After using the restroom at Toro Station, head to Toya Station. 13:30 Arrive at Toya Station! It will be dissolved as it is when you arrive.

This is a 2km walk to see the unusual "Furepe Falls", a waterfall that falls directly into the sea from a cliff gap. On clear days, the Shiretoko mountain range is beautiful here. You can also see how the Shiretoko 100 Square Meter Movement is restoring the former development site to forest. It is often possible to see Ezo deer and wild birds here. Moss Corridor Hiking near Lake Shikotsu in Shikotsu-Toya National Park Free pick-up available from Sapporo, Lake Shikotsu Onsen, Chitose and Tomakomai areas 90 minutes from Sapporo, 45 minutes from Chitose Airport, why not spend a relaxing time in a beautiful and open nature with a small group of people? I will explore a 1 km one-way walk from Shiretoko Nature Center to the coastline. Walking through the secondary forest affected by the exploitation, you can see the majestic Shiretoko mountain from the natural grasslands, and from the observation deck you can see the Flepe waterfall flowing down from the cliff. Wild birds that can be observed for each environment, such as forested wild birds such as yellowfish, grassland birds such as white-faced red wild birds, sea birds such as sea bass, are different during walks. It is a short boardwalk, but the characteristic of Shiretoko is a promising walkway.
