[Weekends only] The upper reaches of Lake Nagai Hyakuaki, a canoe field that feels like a hidden place, even though it is not far from the city. We will guide you on a half-day tour that will lead you into nature both physically and mentally. The meeting place, Nogawa Manabikan, is a 10-minute drive from Nagai City. After checking in and using the restroom, it is another 10-minute drive to the boarding point. As you paddle through the lake surrounded by mountains from the start, multiple waterfalls will bring you the pleasant sound of water and coolness. As you proceed along the waterside that winds left and right while looking at the vibrant broadleaf mountain ranges and rock faces, you will soon arrive at the entrance to Mibuchi Valley. After offering prayers to nature and the gods, you will continue to canoe between the steep granite cliffs, and you will find yourself in a different space that is cut off from the outside world. Mibuchi Valley, where the cool air and silence continue even in midsummer, is a power spot where the dragon god legend remains. You will be enveloped in an emotion that cannot be expressed in words. A mini-adventure tour where you can experience sacred history and culture while enjoying a leisurely canoe ride with a guide! Lumber is exported domestically and overseas, and it was called "the No. 1 city of wood in the Orient". Even now, there are many wood-related companies in the city. We will assemble wooden "Kumiko parts" from scratch. There is some fine work, but the work of assembling them together is addictive! You can rest assured that the area is close to the village and will be guided by someone who was born and raised in the area. First, you will visit a waterfall that is loved by locals. It is easy to get to, but it is full of a hidden feeling and is worth seeing. Next, you will experience picking wild vegetables. You will pick the most popular wild vegetable in the area, "mizu," while listening to a lecture from a wild vegetable picking expert. When you return to Mori no Eki, you will learn how to peel the wild vegetables you picked and cook them in the local way. Finally, you will have "gakko chakko" around a bonfire.
