This plan includes visiting a traditional Japanese townhouse, "Machiya," and participating in a tea ceremony in Kyoto wearing traditional costumes. First, after arriving, you will be quickly dressed in a kimono made of real silk. After that, you will be guided around the townhouse built in the Meiji period. Enjoy tea while listening to an explanation about the tea ceremony in the tea room. There is a traditional four-and-a-half-tatami tea room and a standing seat where you can sit on a chair, so anyone can enjoy tea. Feel free to take photos during your stay and fully experience Japanese culture.

At the "Ninshu Ware Gallery & Matcha Shop," produced by a pottery maker that purveyors the world heritage site Ninnaji Temple in Kyoto, you can experience a pottery landscape modeled after a dry landscape garden, and enjoy matcha tea from Ippodo and Japanese sweets from Senbon Gyokujuken. This is a plan that you can enjoy. At our store, which is a renovated Kyoto townhouse built over 100 years ago, you can easily experience Kyoto culture such as Kyoto's handmade pottery, Kyoto townhouses, matcha and Japanese sweets, and Karesansui.

Enjoy a matcha experience in a kimono! We have a wide selection of kimonos (yukata) for women, men, and children (reservations can be made for up to 4 people). Both the kimono rental and matcha experience are available to anyone aged 10 and over, so it's also recommended for families! You can experience the "Chanoyu" tea ceremony, a comprehensive art form of Japanese culture, in a traditional Kyoto townhouse, where a teacher will prepare the tea and you can also make the tea yourself. For this plan, you will come to Yumeyakata Gojo store, change into your kimono, and then move to the venue for the tea ceremony experience, Yumeyakata Oike Bettei, by yourself. As it takes 1.5 hours to dress and style your hair, if you arrive at 10:00, the tea ceremony experience will be from 12:00 to 13:00. After the tea ceremony experience, you can use the kimono as it is. Please return it to Yumeyakata Gojo store by 17:30.
