A Shiromaru Lake SUP tour is held in the Okutama area of ​​Tokyo. Try stand-up paddle at the deep green Shiromaru Lake that connects to the clear waters of the Tama River. This is an experiential tour where you will experience calligraphy, one of Japan's proud artistic cultures, and create two works of art. Each participant will receive a piece of work created by our instructor. Original and not a print. The type to display on your desk comes with a frame as shown in the photo. Larger types are available only in kind. You will practice how to hold a brush, basic vertical lines, horizontal lines, sweeps, dots, etc., and we will create two works of art that you can display in your home. One will be a large piece to hang on the wall, and one will be a small piece to hang on a desk or table. The instructor is a master calligrapher and professional calligrapher certified by the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, and the host of the calligraphy class. This is a service that allows foreign tourists to experience the good old days of "Showa schools", one of the hidden charms of Japanese culture, at our abandoned school campground, CAMPiece Kimitsu (Kimitsu City, Chiba). A certain rural town in Japan, the era is Showa... Enroll for one day at a school nestled in a rural landscape surrounded by nature. A “homeroom teacher” will actually teach the class in the classroom. Participants wear school uniforms and sailor uniforms. It starts with the entrance ceremony, morning homeroom, day shift, calligraphy and history classes, school lunch, sports day, and finally the graduation ceremony where the students receive their diplomas.
