Enjoy a natural wonderland unlike anything you'd expect in Tokyo! Play to your heart's content in this enchanting field! Located in Okutama, upstream of the Tama River. Mitake Valley features crystal-clear water, boulders of all sizes, and the white spray of the clear stream. While rafting, you'll see a beautiful valley that's hard to believe you're in Tokyo. The steady water flow makes it safe and exhilarating for even beginners. Families and groups are also welcome! Period: April 1st - October 31st (please check the calendar for available reservations). Time: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM - 1:15 PM. Recommended ages: 1st grade and up. A BBQ option is available after the tour (for groups of 4 or more). Please book with a minimum of 4 people.

Okutama Rafting New Base (3-538-1 Yuzukicho, Ome City, Tokyo)

If you arrive by car

Get off at Ome IC or Hinode IC on the Ken-o Expressway and follow Prefectural Route 45 towards Okutama and Mitake for 20 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes before. There is a parking lot on the premises.

If you arrive by train

15 minutes walk from JR Ome Line "Ikusabata Station South Exit". If you are coming by bus, take the Toei Bus "Yoshino bound" from Ome Station bus stop, get off at the "Yoshino" stop, and walk for 1 minute. Please arrive directly at least 10 minutes before the stop.
