Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. The shinobi samurai trained ninjas and lead ninjas as their mastermind.You will wear a ninja outfit to learn ninja techniques and learn samurai sword techniques and manners in samurai garb.

This is an activity where you can wear a kimono and take photos at great spots in Asakusa. We will take you to not only Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple, but also hidden spots that only photographers know about, making it a perfect place to take photos! The photographer is fluent in English, so feel free to ask any questions you have! The photographer will introduce you to kimono rental shops that can speak foreign languages. You can also eat while you're taking photos! You can eat delicious food that is unique to Asakusa, and we'll take photos of you enjoying eating!

3 minutes walk from Sensoji Temple! The 4-story experience space is fully equipped with a Japanese-only studio. There are a wide variety of kimonos, and there are about 1,000 kimonos and yukatas to choose from! We also have kimono sets for men and children. The package includes exquisite hairstyles, hair accessories, and free hairstyles that match the style of the guest's hair amount, hair color, and kimono color. You can also bring your camera! Available in four languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Vietnamese, you will be dressed in a kimono or yukata, have a demonstration and explanation by a senior Japanese tea ceremony instructor, and enjoy traditional Japanese sweets and handmade matcha tea in a dedicated, authentic tea room. You can enjoy the tea ceremony while having your meal. The experience time is approximately 1 hour. You can continue walking around Sensoji Temple even after the tea ceremony. All you have to do is return the kimono by 5:00pm. By turning your handmade work into a kakejiku, you can experience Japanese culture in depth. Our company was founded in 1936 and has been providing traditional crafts for over 80 years. By drawing calligraphy or a painting with a brush and ink, you can enjoy a unique Japanese experience. Kakejiku uses techniques with over 1000 years of history to create a work of wabi-sabi that is refined for beauty and preservation. You can choose to make a full-fledged kakejiku or a simple magnetic tapestry, and take home the work you made that day.

Experience the beauty and history of traditional Japanese paper that is over a thousand years old! A workshop where you can experience Japanese paper making. Starting with an explanation of washi making, you can experience how traditional washi is made from wood. In the workshop, we will make postcards with two different designs, Falling Water Paper, and A5 size paper. While the washi is drying, we will offer Japanese sweets along with a unique "washi tea". The mascot cat “Kami” will always welcome you at the shop! ~Procedure of the experience~ ① Briefly explain the flow of the workshop (5 minutes) We will briefly explain the raw materials for washi paper. ②Experience the process of making washi paper, including ``peeling'' the outer layer of the mulberry tree and ``beating'' the wood fibers. "Samurai Training Tokyo Asakusa" is a samurai experience plan supervised by Takafuji Ukon, the head of the Ukon School of Sword Dance, which is active on the world stage. Feel like a samurai by changing into a hakama and holding a sword in Asakusa, a popular tourist destination in Japan! A swordsman from the school will carefully teach you how to use a sword. The content is designed to allow you to enjoy swordsmanship without being too rigid, so it is also fun for children and groups. At the end of the experience, you will be presented with an official school certificate with your photo, so please feel free to make a memorable and recordable memory of Japan!
