At the workshop, you'll learn about the history of Nishijin-ori and the techniques of its artisans while touching the actual weaving tools used. During the hand weaving experience, you'll weave a table center approximately 20cm x 30cm on a special hand loom. An introductory course that piles up pottery in a string form and creates a form of thought. You can make a wide variety of cups, teacups, figurines and anything you like. You can make it from 500g of soil (the guideline is for 1 bowl of rice bowl). The baking of the work takes about one month to one and a half months.

This tour takes you around the historical sites and famous places of Ikaruga Town, including Horyu-ji Temple, which is registered as a World Heritage Site, and Horin-ji Temple, also known as Miidera Temple, which is associated with Prince Shotoku. There are also stops at each spot on the tour course, so you can enjoy taking pictures freely. Customers who wish can also enter the grounds of Horin-ji Temple and view the interior. (Admission fee is separate) Many Buddhist statues designated as important cultural properties are enshrined at Horin-ji Temple. Please be sure to view them. The tour uses a small 50cc buggy, so anyone with a driver's license can easily drive it. It is very easy to operate! Enjoy the scenery and fresh air of Ikaruga in a cute open-type buggy. In this plan, staff members who are familiar with the city of Ikaruga will lead the way. Please feel free to join us! *Please be sure to check* ・A driver's license is required to ride the buggy.
