Recommended for customers who want to learn authentic tea ceremony You can learn authentic tea ceremony from a tea ceremony master who has a very difficult qualification. The tea ceremony master in charge is in charge of tea ceremonies at the sub-temple of a famous temple in Japan. This is a popular class that attracts many customers from Japan and abroad who want to learn this tea ceremony master. We receive many reservations from customers every month. The class is famous and has six classrooms in Osaka and Kyoto. Currently, we teach Japanese culture in classrooms, schools, companies, hotels, and community activities. We have been highly praised as an authentic cultural class by world-famous five-star hotels and companies. Achievements 5-star class with more than 1,000 reviews on other activity sites, and many awards. The classroom facility is an authentic tea room. It is not just a room. There is an additional tea room usage fee of 1,000 to 2,000 yen. For Kyoto classrooms, if there are multiple participants, it is 1,000 yen per person. For Kyoto classrooms and Honmachi classrooms, if the total number of participants at the time of experience is only one person, an additional fee of 2,000 yen will be charged. There is also a special tea room that can only be used at our classroom. This price is only possible at our classroom. In recent years, prices have been rising around the world, but the prices at our classes in Japan have remained the same for a long time. About the "Tea Ceremony Experience" (1) You can only learn this here (2) The location of the experience may not be available on the reserved date due to facility circumstances. In that case, you will be guided to the nearby Honmachi or Shitennoji classrooms. If the location is changed, we will confirm with the customer and make the necessary arrangements. Even if the location is changed, there are other classrooms nearby, so it will not be considered a cancellation on the organizer's side. Nearby classrooms Honmachi classroom: within walking distance of Honmachi subway station Shitennoji classroom: within walking distance of Shitennoji-mae-Yuhigaoka subway station
We really enjoyed the lesson, we felt really involved in learning. However be prepared for a real class with a teacher being a little bossy

In this plan, you can choose your favorite from M course, T-shirt (90 – XXXL), tote bag (medium size), and the whole process of Japanese traditional craft "Roketsu dyeing" "Dyeing and drying from drawing" You will experience "until". No need for painting, even children are OK! !! A locust dyeing craftsman will carefully guide you. Choose from many sketches and combine them. Also, the original design is OK. Trace the sketch using a brush with wax, then put on boots, apron, and gloves and dye it yourself. After dyeing, remove the wax you drew and you're done. The part drawn with wax remains white as the original fabric without being dyed, and you can easily create simple and deep works dyed with wax, such as shades due to the thickness of the wax and crack patterns due to wax cracks. The work is completed in about 90 to 120 minutes and you can take it home on the day. ~ Flow of the day ~ ① There are many sketches available, so you can choose your favorite sketch from them. The original design is also OK ② Once the sketch is decided, trace the sketch using a brush with wax. Draw a rough sketch with the heated wax included in the brush. ③ Dye the cotton cloth with the sketch drawn with wax in the dye. Please enjoy the dyeing experience by yourself. ④ Soaping work: Put the dyed cotton cloth in a kettle with boiling water and remove only the wax from the cloth. ⑤ Wash the cotton cloth from which the wax has been removed, dehydrate it with a dehydrator, and then dry it. ⑥ You can take home the finished work on the day. Please take home your precious memories in Kyoto.

The Daigokuden has been restored to its large appearance in the capital of Nara Year and the ruins of the central palace [Heijo Palace]. If you go northwest from the Taikyokuden, you will find "Cafe Kyoan". Experience the tea ceremony here and explore the various tea rooms. First of all, decide the seating order of the customer. If there are four people, it will be a regular customer, a second customer, a third customer, and a last customer. When you enter the tea room, you will be given a signal by a gong. After that, you will enter the room after cleaning your hands and mouth with the Tsukubai in front of the tea room. The entrance of the tea room is less than 1m square! Enter one by one from the regular customer to the last customer through the entrance (small rectangular entrance). The tea room is a different space. First, you will see (appreciate) tea utensils (everything has a name and meaning) such as hanging scrolls, and then sit down at your own seat. The owner (the person who makes tea according to the fixed method <pointing>) comes into the tea room with tools. The tea party is about to begin! During the tea ceremony, the instructor will teach you how to do it in the tea room. At the end of the ceremony, there is a <seeing> of the light tea bowl (Natsume) and chashaku (Chashaku) used by the host. You will be asked to place the tools in front of you in order from the regular customers. The way of <seeing> is surprisingly careful to handle the tools! This may also be my first experience. Let's listen to the "sound" in the tea room! The sound of boiling water, the sound of pouring and rinsing the cassotte and chasen water, and the indescribable impression! At the end of the tea ceremony, as well as when entering the room, after seeing the tools in the tea room, we will leave from the regular customers through the entrance. I'm used to returning home, so it may be easier to get out! Thank you for your hard work! Originally, it is not possible to take pictures in the tea room, but there is a shooting time after the end. There is no doubt that it will look good on Instagram, as it is in front of you, as a customer!

It was my first time trying hand weaving with a handloom, and I absolutely loved the process! The rhythmic and focused nature of weaving was therapeutic, and I felt a sense of deep satisfaction upon completing my first textile piece. The instructor was patient and encouraging, providing valuable guidance throughout the process. I was also amazed by the vast array of stunning textile works on display at the workshop. Each piece showcased the creativity and skill of the artisans, and it was truly inspiring to see such a diverse collection of weaving techniques!
