In addition to observing the starry sky with the naked eye, astronomical observations using a Newton-type reflective telescope with a focal length of 800 mm and a diameter of 200 mm are also performed. What you see, such as stars, moons, and comets will change depending on the conditions of the day. If the weather is good, shooting stars can be seen frequently. Even if you are empty-handed, you can participate with your camera and your own telescope!

Explore Lake Two and Lake One of the Shiretoko Five Lakes on a ground walkway, then return via an elevated boardwalk. As you walk along the walkway, you can observe the nature that changes with the seasons. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. Roads and walkways may be closed due to brown bear sightings, snowfall, storms, etc. If we know of a closure in advance, we will contact you by mobile phone and offer you the option to cancel (free of charge) or an alternative course (same price), or a different date and time, if you wish. This trekking tour covers all of the Shiretoko Five Lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a special protected area of Shiretoko National Park, including the elevated boardwalk. This is the first groundbreaking forest adventure experience in Japan, where licensed guides guide you through areas where brown bears live. You can observe not only the lakes, but also the seasonal changes in nature, such as Ezo deer, Ezo red foxes, wild birds, alpine plants, and autumn leaves. Since the animals are not fed, all the creatures you encounter are real wild animals. From Utoro to Oshinkosin's waterfall, it is a plan that cyclists cyclically on a flat coastline. Even those without physical fitness can enjoy cycling at ease. A wide sidewalk is being maintained in all sections, even beginners can safely travel. There are plenty of places to see, such as turtle rock, parent rock, three-stage waterfall, so please expect to meet wild birds and wild animals.

This is a 2km walk to see the unusual "Furepe Falls", a waterfall that falls directly into the sea from a cliff gap. On clear days, the Shiretoko mountain range is beautiful here. You can also see how the Shiretoko 100 Square Meter Movement is restoring the former development site to forest. It is often possible to see Ezo deer and wild birds here. I will explore a 1 km one-way walk from Shiretoko Nature Center to the coastline. Walking through the secondary forest affected by the exploitation, you can see the majestic Shiretoko mountain from the natural grasslands, and from the observation deck you can see the Flepe waterfall flowing down from the cliff. Wild birds that can be observed for each environment, such as forested wild birds such as yellowfish, grassland birds such as white-faced red wild birds, sea birds such as sea bass, are different during walks. It is a short boardwalk, but the characteristic of Shiretoko is a promising walkway.
