The Watatsu River is a first-class river with a length of 14.2 kilometers that originates in Kamiwatatsu, Kitahiroshima City, and flows into the Chitose River. The town of Kitahiroshima began in 1884 when 25 households and 103 people who moved from Hiroshima Prefecture settled along this river. If you rummage through the bushes with a dip net, you will see various aquatic creatures. The river is just under 15 kilometers long, but you will be interested in the diverse creatures. Mysterious Lake MashuThis is a course where you can see Lake Mashu, Mt. Iou, and Lake Kussharo. Mysterious Lake Mashu is worth a visit. Misty Lake Mashu is also famous (as a song says), but on a clear day the blue of the sky is reflected on the lake's surface, creating a spectacular view. Only Mashu No. 1 Observation Deck is available during the winter. On the way to Lake Mashu, you can also get a feel for the vastness of Hokkaido at Tawadaira, where you can see the horizon in a large panorama. You can eat Genghis Khan at Tawadaira. We will help you choose a kimono that suits you best from our selection and rent it for a day. (From June to September, we will use yukata.) It's nice that you don't have to worry about time. Traditional kimonos go well with the historical and atmospheric city of Otaru, with its gas lamps and music box museum. The kimonos we offer are retro-modern kimonos that go well with the retro townscape of Otaru. They are different in terms of comfort and the luster of the fabric.
