Plan attractions

プランの魅力 Noboribetsu Onsen Jigokudani の画像

Noboribetsu Onsen Jigokudani Noboribetsu Jigokudani is an explosion crater with a diameter of about 450m and an area of about 11ha. There are numerous springs and fumaroles along the valley, and the bubbling, boiling scenery is the origin of the name "Hell where demons live." Various types of hot springs gush out from here at a rate of 10,000 tons per day, which is supplied to the hotels and inns in the hot spring town. For this reason, Noboribetsu Onsen is a free-flowing hot spring. It is a very rare place with many different types of springs in one hot spring.

プランの魅力 Cape Chikyu の画像

Cape Chikyu There is a lighthouse and a sculpture of the earth built on a cliff over the Pacific Ocean. Looking out over the endless Pacific Ocean from here, the horizon curves, giving you a real sense that the earth is round. Cape Chikyu was chosen as number one in the "Hokkaido's Top 100 Natural Spots." Looking out over the Pacific coastline, you can see the endless blue ocean, a white lighthouse and distinctive buildings against a clear sky, and a refreshing sea breeze blowing through. It is a place where you can free your mind and relax.

プランの魅力 Showa Shinzan の画像

Showa Shinzan In 1943, Mount Showa Shinzan rose up from the green wheat fields accompanied by earthquakes and explosions. After four months of explosions, the earth continued to rise with each passing moment, as the energy of the earth pushed up the highly viscous dacite lava that had hardened underground, and over a period of about two years, it rose again and again to its current form. It is 398m above sea level and is still an active volcano. The rugged reddish-brown mountain surface tells the story of the history of the uplift caused by the highly viscous lava. The sight of smoke rising from the rock surface is very impressive! You can experience the energy of the earth.

プランの魅力 Silo Observatory の画像

Silo Observatory Silo Observatory, located on a hill on the west shore of Lake Toya, is one of the places in the Lake Toya area where you can get the closest view of the lake. You can see the 9-11km diameter lake, Nakajima, Mt. Usu, Mt. Showa Shinzan, and Lake Toya hot springs town to your right. Experience the natural scenery of the four seasons for yourself. The silo at the observation deck is marked by its brown roof. There is a large sign that says "Silo Observatory," so you can easily find it. The observation deck is behind this building, and since it is located on top of the high caldera wall at an altitude of about 170 meters, the view is great.

プランの魅力 Lake Shikotsu の画像

Lake Shikotsu A caldera lake with a circumference of about 40.3 km, surrounded by a lush virgin forest and with a particularly beautiful sparkling water surface. Formed by violent volcanic activity about 40,000 years ago, it has a maximum depth of 360 m, the second deepest in Japan. It has high transparency and has been ranked number one in Japan for water quality for 11 consecutive years. Lake Shikotsu and the area around Lake Toya to the southwest are designated as Shikotsu-Toya National Park, and are surrounded by magnificent natural scenery such as Mt. Eniwa, Mt. Fuppushi, and Mt. Tarumae. If you take a Lake Shikotsu underwater sightseeing boat, you can enjoy both the scenery from the lake and the underwater scenery, which is well worth seeing (late April to early November).

プランの魅力 の画像

*The Noboribetsu Day Trip Bus Tour is an attractive plan that allows you to fully enjoy Hokkaido's nature and history. At Noboribetsu Jigokudani, you can experience the hellish scenery where demons live and the abundant hot springs, and at Chikyu Misaki, you can enjoy the spectacular views from the cliffs and the Pacific Ocean. You can also enjoy the power of volcanic activity and beautiful scenery at Showa Shinzan and Lake Toya, and you can enjoy interacting with bears at the bear ranch. Furthermore, at Lake Shikotsu, you can enjoy the crystal clear lake surface and the vast nature spreading out in silence, ensuring a memorable day.
