This winter-only nature tour takes you around Orofure Pass, one of Hokkaido's most scenic spots, on snowshoes (snow walking equipment). Experience the silvery white snowscape that stretches out before you, the wind-painted skukabra, and the beautiful frost-covered trees that grow in the icy air. Experience the unique winter scenery of Orofure Pass, which you can't see by car. Your guide will provide detailed instructions on how to use and walk on the snowshoes. No mountaineering experience or special skills are required, so even beginners can participate with confidence. Enjoy a special time experiencing Hokkaido's winter with all your senses as you walk through the quiet snowy mountains. [Highlights of this plan] Participants from elementary school age are welcome. Beginners and inexperienced participants are welcome. A guide accompanies you for safety and security. Enjoy the winter-only frost-covered trees and snowy landscapes. No special skills or mountaineering experience required. Also recommended for photography enthusiasts. A relaxing experience in a small group. [Schedule] ① 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Disband at the meeting point at 12:00 PM) ② 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM (Disband at the meeting point at 3:30 PM). If you have a preferred start time, please let us know in advance. We may be able to accommodate your request. [Meeting Time] Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. [Pickup and Transfer Information] We offer a pick-up service from the Toyako Onsen area. If you require pick-up and transfer, please be sure to include the name of your hotel or landmark when registering. Due to the vehicle's capacity, the maximum number of people allowed is four. For groups of five or more, please contact us in advance. [Experience Schedule] ① We will pick you up from the meeting point or your accommodation near Lake Toya. (Maximum 4 people) ② After gathering, register and pay for the experience. ③ After preparation, begin the experience accompanied by a guide. Your guide will provide a lecture on how to use the snowshoes and precautions. Once the experience begins, you'll dive into the snow, follow animal footprints, and delve into the deep world of silver. There will also be a tea break with hot drinks along the way. ⑤ After the experience, guests will receive a gift of photo data! *Photo data taken by your guide will be gifted. However, please note that depending on weather conditions, there may be fewer photos or the ability to take photos. *The course content will be adjusted depending on the weather and snow conditions on the day. There are plenty of services such as gifts of photos taken by the guide and rental of clothing. Depending on the season and weather, rainwear tops and bottoms and wet socks will be provided free of charge, so you can participate empty-handed.
