This trekking tour covers all of the Shiretoko Five Lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a special protected area of Shiretoko National Park, including the elevated boardwalk. This is the first groundbreaking forest adventure experience in Japan, where licensed guides guide you through areas where brown bears live. You can observe not only the lakes, but also the seasonal changes in nature, such as Ezo deer, Ezo red foxes, wild birds, alpine plants, and autumn leaves. Since the animals are not fed, all the creatures you encounter are real wild animals. We may be able to accommodate times that are not listed in the selection column, so please contact us. The walking trail may be closed due to the appearance of brown bears, snowfall, storms, etc. If we know of a closure in advance, we will contact you on your mobile device and offer you the option to cancel (free of charge) or an alternative course (same price), or a different date and time, if you wish. If the trail is closed after you meet at the site, we will offer you an alternative course (same price) that is available for the remaining time.

Summer in Hokkaido is something that everyone wants to visit at least once. We will guide you through "Okhotsk", which is rich in nature even in Hokkaido, for a leisurely day. The theme of the Shiretoko area is "to fully enjoy nature". In the morning, a guided walk around the Shiretoko Goko Lakes takes you through the representative fields of Shiretoko. We will pick you up at a restaurant in Utoro for lunch. The remaining half day is trekking in the primeval forest. We will take you to a place with a superb view of cliffs and waterfalls by walking along the animal trail. You can immerse yourself in the charm of the world natural heritage Shiretoko through encounters with wild animals and dynamic scenery. *If the Shiretoko Five Lakes are closed due to brown bear appearances, snowfall, etc., there may be cases where the morning and afternoon tours are replaced, another course is offered, and the tour ends in half a day (in that case, a refund will be given). The Shiretoko Five Lakes are a representative tourist spot in Shiretoko and are a must-see. A certified guide will slowly guide you along a course of about 3 km with little elevation change. You can see the traces of animals and enjoy the rich nature of Shiretoko while walking.
