Nishikori Lacquerware Store is a lacquerware shop run by brothers in Kawada, the town of Echizen lacquerware. In this experience, you will receive direct instruction from Mr. Masataka Nishikikori, a craftsman at Nishikikori Lacquerware Shop, and experience wiping lacquer on a wooden tray. The tray, which can be used for serving meals or as a tray for breakfast and snacks, will make your usual little time your favorite time. *The tray in the photo is an image. Create shapes with your own hands! You can experience the potter's wheel! A professional kiln that creates the "shape" of Kutani ware and creates the base material. Miyayoshi Seito boasts one of the largest scales in this Kutani ware production area, creating a truly diverse range of shapes, from small chopstick rests to large urns and plates with a diameter of 50 cm or more. That's no wonder, Miyayoshi Seito's factory boasts the best types of molding in the production area, and you can use various types of tools, machines, and human hands to shape pottery. In this program, you will experience making pottery on a potter's wheel and visit the factory, which is the most basic of Miyayoshi pottery.

In this program, while receiving lectures from traditional Kutani ware craftsmen and instructors, you can experience painting with Kutani Gosai (green, yellow, dark blue, purple, red) on a white base baked in a Miyayoshi pottery kiln.
