Miyayoshi Seito boasts one of the largest scales in this Kutani ware production area, creating a truly diverse range of shapes, from small chopstick rests to large urns and plates with a diameter of 50 cm or more. That's no wonder, Miyayoshi Seito's factory boasts the best types of molding in the production area, and you can use various types of tools, machines, and human hands to shape pottery. "Studio Seikan" is a facility with a workshop, shop and cafe, where you can visit the manufacturing site of Yamanaka lacquerware, experience woodturning, shop, and enjoy cafe and sweets with lacquerware. This course includes a workshop tour (with explanation) - making a vase - lacquerware experience at the cafe (one drink included). Lacquerware craftsmen work here every day. In this experience, you can observe them up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will explain it in an easy-to-understand way. Next, you will make your own original lacquered chopsticks at the place where the craftsmen actually work. Think about the design of the chopsticks and paint them with real lacquer. You can experience authentic lacquer painting. The lacquer craftsmen will teach you carefully, so you can make them yourself until they are completed. You will surely be satisfied. It's fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware at the cafe and taste sweets. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. An industrial jacquard loom has 14,200 warp (vertical) threads, with weft (horizontal) threads moving back and forth between them. There is slight unevenness in thickness.
