Plan description

Enjoy tea picking at the foot of Mt. Fuji while overlooking the majestic mountain. After climbing Observation Hill and strolling through the green tea fields, you'll enjoy delicious tea brewed in a teapot and sweets at the tea factory. Search for "Sakurai Seicha Live Camera" [KTV][LIVE]. You can sample other teas and shop for souvenirs at the adjacent shop. Starting around mid-March, you can get a sneak peek at the new tea buds being picked at the House Tea Farm. ~Schedule~ 10:00 AM: Guided tour to the tea plantation (either "Mt. Fuji Tea Park" or "Kansukezaka Tea Farm") for tea picking. Greetings and information. 10:05 AM: Tea picking experience and tea plantation walk. Explanation of tea picking, tea picking begins, walk to Observation Hill. 10:40 AM: Return to the tea factory and store. 10:50 AM: Tea factory tour. Learn how to brew delicious tea and compare different varieties. Enjoy a tea brewing experience in a teapot, sample tea in the store, and shop for souvenirs.

Tea picking experience and the power spot of Mount Fuji's observation hill

At "Mt. Fuji Tea Park", which is located on a hill where you can see from the top of Mt. The view from the hill overlooking the tea plantation is outstanding. It is a power spot where you can see Mt. Ashitaka Echizen on the right east side of Mt. Fuji, Mt. Shiratori on the left west side, and the Southern Alps beyond.

Tea ceremony and tea factory tour

After picking the tea leaves, you can visit the tea factory to see the tea-making machines. After that, you can enjoy the tea with a teapot and sweets. Try different types of tea and different water temperatures to taste them. Enjoy authentic green tea and Japanese tea.

If you arrive by car

25 minutes from Shin-Fuji IC on the Shin-Tomei Expressway; 23 minutes from Fuji IC on the Tomei Expressway; 14 minutes from Fujikawa ETC Smart IC on the Tomei Expressway. Parking spaces: 10. Large buses: Not allowed. One medium-sized bus can be parked in front of the store. The second parking lot can accommodate 10 standard cars and 3 large buses.

If you arrive by train

22 minutes by car (8.8km) from Shin-Fuji Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen line. *We recommend booking a rental car or taxi in advance. 18 minutes by car (7.3km) from Fuji Station on the Tokaido Line. 8 minutes by taxi from Iriyamase Station on the Minobu Line. 25 minutes on foot from Fujine Station on the Minobu Line (about 1km uphill). 10 minutes by taxi from Fujinomiya Station.
