This tour recruits a limited number of people every month, so first come, first served! And only for students! Reservations are for 3 people or more, and are recommended for those who come to play with friends during spring break or summer vacation! This plan was created to support the creation of memories for students who come to Amami Oshima. Why not try kayaking in the mangroves to make memories with your friends, such as on a graduation trip? You can land deep in the intricate jungle and on vast tidal flats that you cannot go on group tours!・Schedule ① Meet at Roadside Station Mangrove Park ② Arrival at the canoe boarding area, preparation lecture (15 minutes) We will explain how to row and precautions. ③Canoe tour (100 minutes) Let's row a canoe and explore the mangroves! The jungle, tree tunnels, tidal flats, and swarms of crabs are all extraordinary experiences. ⑤ Mangrove Park disbanded I hope you have the best memories of your trip.・About the tides Since mangroves are close to the ocean, the tides have a big effect on their location. This is a tour where you can row a canoe at both high and low tides. However, when the tide is high, the canoe travels through the channels inside the mangroves, and when the tide is low, the tidal flats appear, so they land on the tidal flats. If you have a preference, please let us know when making your reservation.・About tour safety The guide for this tour will be an instructor who has taken a kayak training program. We will provide appropriate lectures and advice to customers who are new to kayaking, and conduct tours in accordance with safety standards.・Others: This tour is not a private tour, and in some cases we may guide two groups at the same time. If you would like to have a private tour, you can choose this as an option.

Amami Oshima was registered as a World Natural Heritage Site in 2021. As the reason for its registration is ``biodiversity,'' this island has many unique flora and fauna. Yuwandake is the most important place where many endemic species live. There are two routes to climb Mt. Yuwandake, but on this tour, you will walk up the wooden stairs from the 9th parking lot to the observation deck and shrine near the top. It's not a mountain trail, so it's easy to walk, and you can observe plants unique to Mt. Yuwandake along the way. (Anyone who has no problem walking or going up and down stairs in daily life can participate. The walk will take about 30 minutes each way.) On a clear day, you can see a wide view of Amami Oshima from the observation deck. However, as the name ``cloud forest'' suggests, Mt. Yuwandake has a unique environment where clouds and fog gather throughout the year, and there is a lot of rain. Therefore, if you're lucky you can see the view from the observation deck, but for me (the guide), the real view is on rainy days. We want you to enjoy this natural environment! After Mt. Yuwandake, we will stop at Materia Falls to take commemorative photos and have tea time. Date: Meet at Naze Sports Park in Amami City or pick up at hotel ↓ Transfer to Mt. Yuwandake (travel time varies depending on the pick-up location) Arrival at Mt. Yuwandake parking lot ↓ Arrive at Nature Walk Observation Deck/Shrine while observing flora and fauna ↓ Arrival at Shimoyama parking lot ↓ Transfer 15 minutes Materia Falls ↓ Arrive at hotel on the way back

Actually, you can't do this anytime you go, but only during high tide! "So when is high tide?" The tides change depending on the day, so you need to check carefully. But don't worry!

Yakusugi Land, which is a 30-minute drive from Anbo, has various courses such as short and long. There are fewer people than Shiratani Unsuikyo, and you can enjoy the beautiful virgin forest of giant trees such as Yakusugi, fir, and hemlock, which are tightly wrapped with moss. In addition, stumps from the feudal era and traces of trial cutting are reminiscent of the history of Yakusugi.

Mt. Motchomu is not so high, but it is a tough mountain trail with steep slopes and some parts where you can use your arms. Climb shortly after a break and use the rope for the last 30 minutes. In particular, climbing with the last rope requires not only nerves but also upper body strength. It is a round-trip course of about 7 hours. Noboru Yamaguchi entrance is located on the waterfall of Chihiro, from prefectural road to the waterfall of Chihiro takes about 1 hour and walk. Crossing the swamp, the rapid climb continues without a break. While watching Mandai Sugi (3,000 Year old), Motchomu Taro and a large tree of Sugi, climb the harsh mountain trail where the roots and stones of the tree overlap intricately, and you will reach the Kamiyama Observatory. The altitude here is 979m, which is about 40m higher than the summit of Mt. From here, proceed along the ridge, and finally grab the rope and crawl up to the summit of Mt. Motchomu. The top of the mountain is literally a rocky peak, and the view is the best. You can overlook the town of Hara and Onoaida directly below. If you have a good view, you can see the Tokara Islands far south. In the shade of the rock on the south side of the summit giant rock, there is a shrine for visiting the mountain in the Onoaida area, and you can see that this mountain has a history of being called "Maedake" for visiting the mountain. There is a water place on the way. There is no shade on the top so you need a hat. Also, the wind may be strong at the top, so be sure to bring an extra warm jacket.
