It is no exaggeration to say that it is the lake with the most guided elements among the Fuji Five Lakes. What is the appeal of Lake Saiko? Unlike Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka, engine boats, power boats, and sightseeing boats are prohibited, so there are no artificial waves and it is calm. It can be enjoyed safely by beginners, those with children, and those with dogs. It is a lake right next to Lake Kawaguchi, so it is easy to access from your accommodation (15 minutes by car from Kawaguchiko Station). The water is clean and the environment is very quiet. Facing the sea of trees, you can see and touch the impressive lava belt that formed the sea of trees up close. There are many campsites around the lakeside, so you can join a tour while camping. It is the only lake in Japan where "Kunimasu" live. Depending on the course and the number of participants on the day, you can see Mt. Fuji. The mountains around Lake Saiko are covered with broadleaf forests, and the contrast between the green of Aokigahara Jukai and the autumn leaves of the surrounding mountains is amazing. ・Winter It is a cold season, but the charm of kayaking is that you can enjoy it if you take measures against the cold. You can also see Mt. Fuji covered in snow.
