This tour recruits a limited number of people every month, so first come, first served! And only for students! Reservations are for 3 people or more, and are recommended for those who come to play with friends during spring break or summer vacation! This plan was created to support the creation of memories for students who come to Amami Oshima. Why not try kayaking in the mangroves to make memories with your friends, such as on a graduation trip? You can land deep in the intricate jungle and on vast tidal flats that you cannot go on group tours!・Schedule ① Meet at Roadside Station Mangrove Park ② Arrival at the canoe boarding area, preparation lecture (15 minutes) We will explain how to row and precautions. ③Canoe tour (100 minutes) Let's row a canoe and explore the mangroves! The jungle, tree tunnels, tidal flats, and swarms of crabs are all extraordinary experiences. ⑤ Mangrove Park disbanded I hope you have the best memories of your trip.・About the tides Since mangroves are close to the ocean, the tides have a big effect on their location. This is a tour where you can row a canoe at both high and low tides. However, when the tide is high, the canoe travels through the channels inside the mangroves, and when the tide is low, the tidal flats appear, so they land on the tidal flats. If you have a preference, please let us know when making your reservation.・About tour safety The guide for this tour will be an instructor who has taken a kayak training program. We will provide appropriate lectures and advice to customers who are new to kayaking, and conduct tours in accordance with safety standards.・Others: This tour is not a private tour, and in some cases we may guide two groups at the same time. If you would like to have a private tour, you can choose this as an option.

Held from spring to autumn Fishing for Japanese eels in the brackish waters of rivers Part 1: 8:00-10:30 Part 2: 10:30-13:00 Part 3: 13:30-16:00 Part 4: 16:00-18:30 This is a tour to fish for eels at the mouths of rivers that run through Tokyo. Japanese eels are born in the western waters of the Mariana Islands. They grow in rivers not only in Japan but also in East Asia, including China, Taiwan, and the Korean Peninsula, and are known to return to the Mariana Islands to spawn. Japanese eels (Anguilla japonica), which belong to the Anguilla genus of the eel family, are widely distributed in East Asia, including Japan, China, Taiwan, and Korea. In Japan, they mainly live south of Honshu, but there have been cases of them being caught in Hokkaido. Rental tackle, fishing rod, and equipment are included, so you can participate empty-handed. Two patterns of fishing will be done: casting fishing and plastic bottle tackle fishing, using earthworms as bait. While waiting for the tackle, you can fish for goby at your feet. The main target is eels, but sometimes you can also catch goby, crabs, and seigo. The tour lasts about 3 hours. Please bring a headlamp, a handy light, and drinks. *If you want to take the fish home, please bring an aeration device (battery-powered bubbler) to prevent oxygen deficiency, a plastic case or fishing bucket to prevent escape, and a cooler box. By train: 15 minutes walk from JR Joban Line or Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line By car: Please use a nearby parking lot Meeting place: Near the Seven-Eleven Katsushika Kosuge 1-chome store. We will send you a map in advance, so please walk to the point. Migration of Japanese eels Japanese eels spawn in the summer in the waters west of the Mariana Islands in the Pacific Ocean. After hatching, they become willow-leaf-shaped larvae called leptocephalus. Glass eels are carried by ocean currents and reach East Asia in about six months, then transform into long, cylindrical glass eels and ride the high tide into rivers. After that, their transparent bodies start to take on color, and they are called yellow eels. During the yellow eel stage, eels grow large, and eat a variety of foods, including shrimp, crabs, small fish, and insects. The environment in which Japanese eels spend their growth period is wide, from coastal areas to the upper reaches of rivers, and includes not only freshwater areas but also brackish water and seawater. After several years to a dozen years, when they grow to a size of about 40 cm or more for males and about 50 cm or more for females, they begin to mature and are called silver eels. Silver eels leave their familiar rivers and coastal areas and travel to spawning grounds from autumn to winter. They reach the spawning grounds in the Marianas in about six months, spawn, and then end their life. PS: The minimum number of participants is 5 or more.

"Akashiba Gorge" is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Bandai-Asahi National Park. The area is covered with broad-leaved trees such as mountain maple, maple, and beech, and is a famous spot for autumn leaves that turn bright red every fall. It is said that the name Akashiba Gorge was given because it was called "Japanese red wall". The Arakawa River, which has a gorge, looks like a rapid current when viewed from National Route 113, but on this tour, you will tour a relatively calm area surrounded by granite rocks by canoe. Unlike canoeing on the lake, the field with a current is thrilling. After warming up, in the first half we will row back to the flow of the river. With a break on the way, the second half is a canoe down the valley. The view of Akashiba Gorge from the water with a guide is exceptional. Although it will be held rain or shine, it may be canceled at the discretion of the local guide, such as when the flow of the river is very fast. In that case, the fee will be fully refunded. Basic pets cannot ride together. Please contact us if you have enough experience.

Hinohara Village is the only village on land in Tokyo. Deep inside the village, on a ridge well over 700m above sea level, lies the old house "Kyu Kobayashi Family Residence". Built in the mid-Edo period (more than 320 years ago), this mountain house is literally an "old house in the sky". This tour, which takes you there by mountain monorail that goes straight up a super steep slope of nearly 45 degrees, is an extremely extraordinary experience that will leave a deep impression on your memory, both geographically and historically, as well as physically. The tour meets at the Tokyo Back Mountain Base in front of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, and includes transportation to the site by private car. *Hinohara Village has been designated as a national ecotourism promotion area, and as an exception, transportation to the ecotour site by car is permitted. (Your accompanying guide, Jinken, is a certified eco-tour guide for Hinode Village.) For lunch, you will be served at the Kobayashi Family House, with a lunchbox of light snacks (Cuban sandwiches) made specially for the Tokyo Urayama Base, and coffee brewed with water that participants themselves will have drawn from a special spring in the area. After experiencing the old mountain house, we will move on to another highlight of the day. We will stop at Kanoto Rock, a power spot known only to those in the know, and walk along the valley using chains. Here, too, you can experience a part of the local mountain worship and lifestyle culture. On the way back, we will cross a suspension bridge over the valley just beyond the Akigawa River from the village and enjoy a foot bath at a popular local hot spring. Once your feet are warm, we will head to a local cafe renovated from an old house, recommended by our guide (Jinken). We will take a break at CAFE POUND, the most popular cafe in the area, renovated from a Showa-era house by the owner himself. A private car will pick you up from the station, and you will be accompanied by a Hinode Village certified eco-tour guide. It will be a very fulfilling day where you can experience the lifestyle and culture of a mountain village. This is a premium tour with a capacity of only 6 people. This is a trekking tour where you can enjoy the nature of Hakone. The setting for the tour is Miyanoshita in Hakone Town. As you walk through the Showa retro town, you will come into contact with the history of the good old hot springs, and while thinking about history, you will walk through the dynamic natural valley that formed the basis of the hot springs. You will encounter moss and ferns that live in the moist environment at the bottom of the valley, and we will guide you into the microscopic world of moss using a magnifying glass! In addition to the tour, you will also have the opportunity to experience crafting as a memento of your trip. (Of course, you can take it home!) Enjoy the dynamic nature of the valley, the history of hot springs, and the Showa retro townscape of Miyanoshita, full of charm.
