Chopstick making experience using a plane in Ginza, Tokyo ♪ ★Chopstick making experience recommended for couples and families★ A chopstick making workshop using a plane. You can have fun making your own chopsticks with your family, couples, or friends ♪ ◆ Process ◆ 1. Choose the wood (12 types) 2. Choose the length of the chopsticks (2 types) 3. Set the chopsticks on the stand and use a plane to sharpen them 4. Use sandpaper to smooth the tips and corners of the chopsticks 5. Coat with oil and it's done *You can take them home on the day The estimated time required is 30 to 40 minutes. Children under 9 years old should be accompanied by an adult. We had such a wonderful time crafting our own unique chopsticks. Our Sensei was so kind, helpful and nice, we felt very welcome and comfortable. Making our own chopsticks including laser grooving of our names in Japanese letters was a very special experience and definitely one of our highlights in Tokyo. The shop was super cute, we were alone with our Sensei the whole time and she was the perfect host and instructor. Thank you so much for this special day!
