This is an experience plan for trial cutting (Makiwara) using a Japanese sword (Maken) at a real martial arts dojo. The Yushin-ryu sword technique at the Koryu Iaido Dojo will be taught safely and carefully by a Dan-dan master, so please participate with confidence. The ``Casual Course'' is an experience where you wear a simple iaido belt over your regular clothes.
