This is a full-scale archery experience plan supervised by archer Ando Kotaro, who has appeared on many TV shows and radio programs! Would you like to try traditional archery that is a little different from Kyudo? Did you know that Kyudo did not exist during the samurai era before the Edo period (such as the Sengoku and Muromachi periods)? It will satisfy a wide range of levels, from the basics for beginners to practical practice of attaching an arrow to a waist and rapid shooting practice for those with Kyudo experience. Even those who are not physically strong can enjoy archery with peace of mind, as we also lend out short and weak bows and accommodate experiences while sitting on a chair. The event will be held outdoors.

This is an experiential calligraphy class for foreign tourists visiting Japan, business travelers, or foreigners living in Japan. Write kanji with a brush while calming your mind in a Japanese-style room in a Japanese-style private house. We have prepared approximately 30 kanji characters that are popular among foreigners, such as love, dream, mother, father, friend, and flower. If you have any requests for kanji that you would like to write, please let us know in advance and we will prepare a model for you! We receive many requests to write their name in kanji, so please let us know in advance the name you would like to write (only one person) and we will prepare a sample! You can use the name of a family member (only one name) instead of your own! In this hands-on class, you will polish the ink you use by yourself. You can see for yourself that the color of the ink gradually becomes darker. In addition, the tools used in calligraphy, such as brushes, paper, inkstones, and ink, are explained in an easy-to-understand manner using panels with photos. The lesson begins and ends with a seated prayer. We will also explain the etiquette of the zarei in an easy-to-understand manner! Start with basic writing techniques such as vertical lines and horizontal lines, practice the selected kanji on paper, and finally write them on the fan. You can take the fan home with you, so it also makes a great souvenir!

[Vegetable harvesting + farm lunch experience] - Experience real agriculture in a casual setting! - [Agricultural experience] Experience agriculture at Scoop Farm, which is committed to organic farming. This experience takes place in a tranquil setting that is sometimes used for filming TV dramas and promotional videos. You will get a taste of the actual farm work for about 10-15 minutes, focusing on the tasks that cannot be mechanized. In addition to spreading compost, picking up tree roots, removing weeds, and preparing the soil to revive abandoned farmland to its former Satoyama form, you will also do a wide range of tasks, including watering to prevent drought, sowing seeds and planting seedlings, and shipping products. You will experience farm work by focusing on "what is actually being done" rather than "an experience prepared for the experience." After participating a few times, you may be able to become a farmer yourself. - [Harvesting experience] Try harvesting seasonal vegetables! Our staff will kindly teach you the tricks to finding ripe vegetables. We will also teach you the necessary knowledge to enter organic farmland. You can take home the vegetables you harvest! *November to December is the off-season (when crops are replaced) for the fields, so the experience will be centered around farm work. If you are unable to harvest, you can receive vegetables from a nearby partner farm as a souvenir. [Food Experience] Enjoy lunch at "Farm Restaurant and Cafe Zeze," which serves vegetables from the farm. *The vegetables you harvest will change depending on the crop situation on that day.
