In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Fish (Iyu) or Shisa Urushi Painting Plan This plan allows you to paint your favorite lacquer painting on Yachimun parts. You can choose from the following two shapes. a. Fish (Iyu) Course: Paint your favorite pattern on a fish-shaped Yachimun. You can either copy the sample pattern or paint your own favorite pattern! It is also recommended as a keepsake or gift with a name and date. Once completed, you can take it home as a magnet or strap. b. Shisa Plan: Paint your favorite lacquer painting on a Shisa-shaped Yachimun. You can paint not only Shisa (female and male), but also dogs, cats, frogs, bears, and other animals you like. Once completed, you can take it home as a magnet, strap, or brooch (badge).
