You can make your own silver ring. Silver rings are made by cutting and bending silver plates. This is a small group experience course that is limited to one group each time, so you can create pairings and relax with friends, family, or yourself. Why not try making "Kumiko" in Noshiro, the city of wood? Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture, is a town at the mouth of the Yoneshiro River, and has a convenient port for transporting felled Akita cedar. Lumber is exported domestically and overseas, and it was called "the No. 1 city of wood in the Orient". Even now, there are many wood-related companies in the city. We will assemble wooden "Kumiko parts" from scratch. There is some fine work, but the work of assembling them together is addictive! Kintsugi is a repair technique in which cracks, chips, and other damaged parts of ceramics are glued together with lacquer and decorated with gold and other metal powder. It is also called Kintsukuroi. At our salon, we use simple lacquer instead of real lacquer, and we finish at a reasonable price. Tableware that holds a special meaning can be revived by Kintsugi, and upgraded by applying gold. We accept lessons and orders. The experience location is Minoh City, a city rich in nature in Hokusetsu, Osaka. 20 minutes by train from central Osaka Location: 10 minutes walk from Sakurai Station on the Hankyu Minoh Line, or at the Sakurai Station Cafe (At the cafe, we ask that each person order one drink) If a child of junior high school age or younger participates, a parent or guardian must apply and participate with them.
