We will make a key chain using Kyoto twisted tassels. Braid "Kumihimo" like "Your Name". Choose up to 2 colors of thread by yourself and make a set of four. Tie a knot and attach it to the tassel to make a key holder. Kanae-musubi is a type of knotting method that has been used for a long time in the field of Kyoto Kumihimo as a way to make wishes come true. The price may change depending on the type of twisted tassel. (5 00 yen) The charms shown in the photo can be attached separately for a fee (200 yen to 500 yen). I was born in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, and I am a qualified teacher of the Omotesenke school who still lives in Nakagyo Ward. Her husband is a descendant of Ihei Ito, who developed somei-yoshino, a cherry blossom variety that is world-famous as the national flower of Japan, at the request of Yoshimune, the eighth shogun of the Tokugawa family. In our classroom, in addition to the antiques given to us by various people and the tea bowls we collected ourselves, we also use old ones given to us by family members. Since sitting in the seiza style puts a lot of strain on the legs, we also offer an experience using a table and chairs called the ryurei style. If you tell us when you make a reservation, even children, the elderly, and people with concerns about their feet and knees can participate with peace of mind. I think there may be cases such as "I learned it a long time ago, but I somehow forgot it", "I don't understand it even if I read a book", "I don't have time to continue learning". Would you like to experience it when it's like that? After the experience, be sure to stop by the Tsukigama and numerous tea ceremonies that can be found throughout Kyoto. I'm sure there will be new discoveries and fun. The dresser will wear a mask, but customers can wear one if they wish. The return time is by 8pm, so you can enjoy Kyoto at night, including the light-up and meals. If you would like an evening session, we can change the time if there are reservations available, so please contact us early. If there are three or more people, please make a reservation for the next time slot. Located in the center of Kyoto City, you can reach Kiyomizu-dera Temple in the east, Arashiyama in the west, Kinkaku-ji Temple in the north, and Fushimi Inari in the south in less than 30 minutes. Nearby are the world heritage site Nijo Castle, the hidden gem Shinsen-en, Toji Temple, and Gion. Nishiki Market, popular for food, is within a 15-minute walk.
