The entire area has been designated as a scenic spot by the Japanese government. The tourist train that connects Arashiyama and Kameoka is the "Sagano Scenic Train." The 7.3km route from "Torokko Saga Station" to "Torokko Kameoka Station" takes about 25 minutes, and you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Hozugawa Valley in every season, including beautiful cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery and the murmuring of the river in summer, glossy autumn leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter.
